Walt : actively seek to extend my knowledge of new vocabulary.
During the year I will be trying my hardest to learn new words. When I come across a new word in my reading I will record it in my word clarification spreadsheet. I will find the meaning of the word and then find other words that mean the same eg. synonyms.
I will try and use my new words that I learn in my writing.

Keep up the hard work Roo learning new words. We can help you at home too when you are reading to find the meaning of the word you don`t know.
